And while you’re here, I’d love to give you a super quick intro to me and what’s on offer for you here at Scout for Vintage.
My name is Jodie, your very own denim consultant & vintage jeans cheer leader. I started SFV because I wanted to share my passion for vintage denim, educate and create a fun and welcoming space that replaces that Jean dread.
I have a proud creative past in the fashion industry that spans from designing and producing original outfits for well known bands on tour, to owning my own swimwear label to developing denim and controlling fits for large fast fashion brands, to now… where I sit here with you.
Have you ever been to a regular vintage store or thrift shop and found the perfect worn in washed out denim only to discover they weren’t your size? At SFV you don’t have to give those perfect jeans up and instead have them tailored perfectly for you right here in store!
SFV allows for inclusivity among its customers and enables sustainability in the denim market that currently has a big black mark over it.
I’m proud to be an advocate not only for slow and sustainable but much more importantly circular fashion. The Denim industry is responsible for churning out a staggering 2 billion new pairs of jeans every single year…however SFV is pushing the envelope creating a store and concept that leaves no reason to ever buy new denim again.
Pretty big statement right? Not only do we offer a healthy range of vintage denim for every shape and of course size, we offer the same tailoring and mending service to your own jeans already found in your closet.
